iVerify Malawi verified the content and determined that it is false. To arrive at this verdict, iVerify Malawi interviewed the Head of International Relations and Corporate Communication at the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA), Limbani Nsapato and some some sources. Nsapato said all MACRA offices were operating normally on September 18, 2025. Nsapato also said MACRA has no offices at the Presidential Villa. Some people corroborated and said they were in their offices at the time iVerify Malawi talked to them.
