To arrive at this verdict, iVerify Malawi watched press conferences that the Civil Society Elections Integrity Forum (CSEIF) has conducted and found that none of such conferences have words or elements suggesting that the forum pressured the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) to release election results. iVerify Malawi also interviewed CSEIF Chairperson Benedicto Kondowe who said the forum stance is that MEC should only determine results within the law and not be pressured.
