Fake letter claiming ‘Vitumbiko Mumba’ requested MRA to grant clearance of property to Zimbabwe

Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba has disowned the letter describing it as fake. Malawi Revenue Authority says it is not aware of such a letter/request.

iVerify Malawi verified the letter and determined that the letter is fake. To arrive at this verdict, iVerify Malawi analysed the information and structure of the letter and interviewed Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba and Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) spokesperson Wilma Chalulu. Mumba disowned the letter and described it as fake. Chalulu said MRA is not aware of anything regarding such a letter.
