To arrive at this verdict, iVerify Malawi analysed the information in the letter and used information that the purported signatory of the letter, Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Secretary General Richard Chimwendo Banda posted on his Facebook page. iVerify Malawi found that the letter is being addressed to the Chief Executive Officer yet the Malawi Electoral Commission has Chief Elections Officer.
