The Anti-Corruption Bureau spokesperson Jacqueline Ngongonda confirmed that Charles Mchacha, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Regional Governor for the South, went to the Bureau's offices in Blantyre as part of his bail condition on the corruption case he is answering. The Bureau, however, did not say anything about the alleged threats and shouting that Mchacha reportedly did while there.

Ngongonda said Mchacha visited the Bureau offices as part of his bail conditions.
